Helsinki is known for historic sites, museums, and shopping. Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Step out of Rovaniemi to go to Ranua and see Ranua Zoo, which is approximately 1 hour away. There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, get in on the family fun at Moomin Snowcastle, have fun at Angry Birds Park, and examine the collection at Santa's House of Snowmobiles.
