An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Thu): look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, see Santa Claus Office, and then make a trip to Santa Claus Village. On the 15th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the different monuments and memorials at German Soldier s Cemetery, then find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, and then Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell.
