Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Visiting Nuuksio National Park and Laurinmaki nature and culture area, Crofter's Museum will get you outdoors. Popular historic sites such as Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Turku Castle are in your itinerary. Get out of town with these interesting Helsinki side-trips: Porvoo (Brunberg Candy Factory Shop & Cathedral of Porvoo) and Turku (Turku Cathedral & Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova). The adventure continues: admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukion Church, get engrossed in the history at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Johannes Church, and admire the masterpieces at Kansallisgalleria.

Vaasa is a city on the west coast of Finland. Kick off your visit on the 10th (Sat): enjoy the sand and surf at Hietasaaren uimaranta, step off the mainland to explore Kvarken Archipelago World Heritage Site, and then snap pictures at Raippaluodon Silta.
