Helsinki is known for historic sites, museums, and shopping. Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 11th (Fri), get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, then Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell, then see Santa Claus Office, and finally don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 12th (Sat): let the kids burn off some steam at Angry Birds Park, pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, then examine the collection at Santa's House of Snowmobiles, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at German Soldier s Cemetery.
