Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Step out of Tampere to go to Hameenlinna and see Hame Castle, which is approximately 1h 5 min away. There's still lots to do: get in on the family fun at Sarkanniemi Theme Park, tour the pleasant surroundings at Pyynikki Park and Observation Tower, see the interesting displays at Vapriikin Museokeskus, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Tampereen Tuomiokirkko.
