Start off your visit on the 4th (Wed): explore the fascinating underground world of Syvasenvaara Fell and then pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church.

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Start off your visit on the 5th (Thu): explore the striking landscape of Lemmenjoki National Park. Keep things going the next day: tour the pleasant surroundings at Juutua Nature Trail and then experience rural life at Tuula's Reindeer.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Helsinki Cathedral. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Ullanlinna. Change things up with a short trip to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo (about 48 minutes away). And it doesn't end there: find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, enjoy the sand and surf at Hietaranta Beach, and admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church.

Traveling by flight from Inari to Helsinki takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Inari in July: high temperatures in Helsinki hover around 25°C and lows are around 15°C.
