An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Rovaniemi is known for wildlife, museums, and fun & games. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, examine the collection at Christmas House Santa, and see Santa Claus Office.

Larnaca, Cyprus to Rovaniemi is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. Plan for colder temperatures traveling from Larnaca in December, with highs in Rovaniemi at -6°C and lows at -13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Mon) so you can drive to Levi.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Venture out of the city with trips to Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park (in Muonio) and Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila). Next up on the itinerary: get all the equipment you need at Levi Ski Resort, look for all kinds of wild species at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm, join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, and fly down the slopes at Kids' Land.

Traveling by car from Rovaniemi to Levi takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Expect a daytime high around -6°C in December, and nighttime lows around -15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
