Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
On the 14th (Sun), get all the equipment you need at Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort and then pause for some serene contemplation at Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel. On your second day here, get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, look for gifts at Shamaan Design - Lappi Shop, then examine the collection at Gold Prospector Museum, and finally wander the wide-open spaces of Saariselka Reindeer Farm.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Step out of Levi to go to Kittila and see Lapland Hotels SnowVillage, which is approximately 46 minutes away. Spend the 16th (Tue) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. And it doesn't end there: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, make a trip to Giewont Husky Adventures, take an exotic tour of Lapland Safaris Levi, and stop by Elan Ski Shop & Rental.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 19th (Fri): stop by LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, then take an exotic tour of a safari tour, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and finally don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square. On the next day, make a trip to Santa Claus Village, then see Santa Claus Office, and then get in on the family fun at Moomin Snowcastle.
