An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 19th (Fri): see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, look for gifts at LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and finally make a trip to Lordi's Square. Start off your visit on the 21st (Sun): see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, find something for the whole family at Angry Birds Activity Park, and then get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
