Step out of Levi to go to Kittila and see Lapland Hotels SnowVillage, which is approximately 46 minutes away. Spend the 9th (Wed) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. Helsinki to Levi is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Helsinki in March: high temperatures in Levi hover around 31°F and lows are around 16°F. Traveling by car from Levi to Saariselka takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In March, plan for daily highs up to 29°F, and evening lows to 13°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) so you can go by car to Rovaniemi.

Rovaniemi

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Step out of Rovaniemi with an excursion to Kemi SnowCastle in Kemi--about 1h 40 min away. There's much more to do: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, make a trip to Santa Claus Village, and see Santa Claus Office.

You can drive from Saariselka to Rovaniemi in 3.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. In March, plan for daily highs up to 30°F, and evening lows to 17°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Wed) to allow enough time to fly back home.
