An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Rovaniemi is known for wildlife, museums, and fun & games. Kick off your visit on the 17th (Tue): grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: find something for the whole family at Levi Huskypark, then get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, then join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, and finally gear up at Elan Ski Shop & Rental.

Ivalo is a village in the municipality of Inari, Lapland, Finland, located on the Ivalo River 20km south of Lake Inari. On the 19th (Thu), get outside with Lake Inari, then examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, and then experience rural life at Inari Reindeer Farm. Here are some ideas for day two: see Northern Lights Riders and then pause for some serene contemplation at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church.
