Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Escape the urban bustle at Urho Kekkonen National Park and Juutua Nature Trail. Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center and Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Helsinki to Inari is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Helsinki in October: high temperatures in Inari hover around 3°C and lows are around -2°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Levi.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Thu): grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 22nd (Fri): make a trip to Ounasjoki - River for activities and then surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church and then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum. On the 24th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take an exotic tour of a safari tour and then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village.
