Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 26th (Tue): see the interesting displays at Christmas House Santa, see Santa Claus Office, then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, then let little ones run wild at Angry Birds Park, and finally don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square. Keep things going the next day: take an exotic tour of a safari tour, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and then engage your brain at Pilke Science Centre.

Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
Start off your visit on the 28th (Thu): surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, and then trek along Juutua Nature Trail. Here are some ideas for day two: fly down the slopes at Urho Kekkonen National Park and then get in on the family fun at Angry Birds Activity Park.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
On the 30th (Sat), grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort. Keep things going the next day: experience rural life at Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm, then surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, then bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, and finally soothe aching muscles at KuruYoga Levi.
