An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sun): make a trip to Santa Claus Village, then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Office, and then get in on the family fun at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus. Ivalo is a village in the municipality of Inari, Lapland, Finland, located on the Ivalo River 20km south of Lake Inari. Kick off your visit on the 25th (Tue): surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour and then examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center. Here are some ideas for day two: get in on the family fun at Angry Birds Activity Park and then gear up at Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort.
