Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Feel Vegas - Club Rovaniemi and Santa's House of Snowmobiles. There's much more to do: find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, stroll the grounds of German Soldier s Cemetery, see Santa Claus Office, and take an in-depth tour of Arktikum.

Helsinki to Rovaniemi is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also take a train; or drive. Traveling from Helsinki in November, expect Rovaniemi to be slightly colder, temps between -2°C and -7°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Levi.

Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
On the 25th (Wed), grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort. On the 26th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: wander the streets of Ounasjoki - River for activities, then bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, then relax in the rural setting at Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm, and finally make a trip to Giewont Husky Adventures.

Traveling by car from Rovaniemi to Levi takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Rovaniemi in November, expect a bit cooler with lows of -11°C in Levi. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Thu) to allow time to drive to Inari.

Inari

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Start off your visit on the 27th (Fri): get outside with Lake Inari, pause for some serene contemplation at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, and then examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center. On the 28th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: trek along Juutua Nature Trail, experience rural life at Inari Reindeer Farm, and then get a taste of life in the country at Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus.
