Oulu is a city and municipality of inhabitants in the region of Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. Helsinki to Oulu is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also take a train; or drive. In February, Oulu is a bit cooler than Helsinki - with highs of -3°C and lows of -9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Fri) so you can catcht the bus to Ranua.

Traveling by car from Rovaniemi to Ranua takes an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 2nd (Sat) to allow time for the car ride back home.
