Mariehamn is the capital of Åland, an autonomous territory under Finnish sovereignty. Get out of town with these interesting Mariehamn side-trips: Eckero (Leklandet & Aland Hunting & Fishing Museum), Bomarsund (in Sund) and Getabergen (in Geta).
