Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Start off your visit on the 28th (Wed): take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, then explore the world behind art at Kansallisgalleria, then admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church, and finally get engrossed in the history at The National Museum of Finland. On the 29th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get to know the fascinating history of The Esplanadi Park, brush up on your military savvy at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, get engrossed in the history at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, then steep yourself in history at The Aalto House, and finally engage your brain at Heureka.

Vilnius, Lithuania to Helsinki is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and ferry; or drive. Expect little chillier weather when traveling from Vilnius in April: highs in Helsinki hover around 9°C, while lows dip to 0°C. Start off your visit on the 1st (Sat): experience rural life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm, bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, hit the slopes at Kids' Land, take an exotic tour of Lapland Safaris Levi, then get a taste of the local shopping with Elan Ski Shop & Rental, and finally hit the slopes at Yllas Ski Resort. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: grab your bike and head to Levi Ski Resort.

Turku

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
On the 3rd (Mon), wander the streets of Naantali Old Town, enjoy the sand and surf at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna, examine the collection at Luostarinmaen Kasityolaismuseo, then deepen your understanding at Turku Cathedral, and finally take an in-depth tour of Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova. On the next day, tour the pleasant surroundings at Bike Rental - by Carfield, then browse the exhibits of Turku Castle, then learn about all things military at Forum Marinum Maritime Centre, and finally kick back and relax at Vepsa Island.

Traveling by flight from Levi to Turku takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Traveling from Levi in May, expect Turku to be somewhat warmer, temps between 17°C and 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Pori.
