Turku

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Fri): contemplate the long history of Turku Cathedral, enjoy the sand and surf at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna, and then get engrossed in the history at Turku Castle.

Kick off your visit on the 24th (Sat): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temppeliaukio Church, take an in-depth tour of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, then step into the grandiose world of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, then pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, and finally browse the eclectic array of goods at Hakaniemi Market.
