Inari

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. On the 17th (Fri), examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, experience rural life at Inari Reindeer Farm, and then get a taste of life in the country at Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus.

Dammam, Saudi Arabia to Inari is an approximately 25-hour combination of flight and car. The time zone changes from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Eastern European Standard Time (EET), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Kuusamo is a town and municipality in Finland. On the 18th (Sat), tour the pleasant surroundings at Pieni Karhunkierros Trail, then explore the activities along Kiutakongas Rapids, and then stop by Shopping Center Kumpare. On your second day here, relax in the rural setting at Palosaari Reindeer and Fishing Farm, look for gifts at Riipisen Wild Game and Souvenier Shop, and then head outdoors with Karhunkierros.

Although predominately an industrial town, Imatra boasts a long and impressive history of tourism, largely owing to its fierce rapids, considered to have been Finland's first ever tourist attraction.
Start off your visit on the 21st (Tue): head off the coast to Malonsaari, enjoy the sand and surf at Lempukka Beach, then head off the coast to Lammassaari Island, and finally take in the dramatic scenery at Imatra Waterfall.
