An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 27th (Mon), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church. On the 28th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: meet the residents at Ranua Zoo.

Krakow, Poland to Rovaniemi is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. The time zone changes from Central European Standard Time (CET) to Eastern European Standard Time (EET), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Get outdoors at Levi Ski Resort and Nature & Wildlife Tours. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Icekarting Levi and Ounasjoki - River for activities. Go for a jaunt from Levi to Kittila to see Lapland Hotels SnowVillage about 46 minutes away.
