An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Get out of town with these interesting Rovaniemi side-trips: Ranua Zoo (in Ranua) and Pyha-Luosto National Park (in Pyhatunturi).
