Daughter of the Baltic
Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.Attractions like Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Helsinki Cathedral make great kid-friendly stops. There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of Temppeliaukio Church, appreciate the extensive heritage of The Esplanadi Park, look for gifts at Marttiini Senaatintori, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali).

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.Kids will appreciate attractions like Levi Ski Resort and Icekarting Levi. Step out of Levi to go to Kolari and see Powerun Adventures, which is approximately 54 minutes away. There's lots more to do: hit the slopes at Kids' Land, stop by Elan Ski Shop & Rental, look for all kinds of wild species at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm, and don't miss a visit to Giewont Husky Adventures.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.Kick off your visit on the 31st (Thu): examine the collection at Santa's House of Snowmobiles, make a trip to Santa Claus Village, then see Santa Claus Office, then find something for the whole family at Moomin Snowcastle, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy. On your second day here, stop by LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, then look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, then take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and finally don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square.
