Start off your visit on the 8th (Thu): admire the masterpieces at Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma. Keep things going the next day: explore the galleries of Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, examine the collection at Fagervik Museum, and then kick back and relax at Bellevue Beach.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Arctic Lifestyle and Safaris. Step out of the city life by going to Kopara Reindeer Park and Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy. Get out of town with these interesting Rovaniemi side-trips: Sampo Icebreaker (in Kemi) and Amethyst Mine Lapland (in Luosto).
