Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Mannerheim Museum. Get in touch with nature at Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Bike Rental - by Carfield. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Helsinki: Turku (Turku Castle & Forum Marinum Maritime Centre). An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Wed): engage your brain at Science Centre Pilke and then pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get to know the resident critters at Ranua Zoo and then Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell.
