An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 28th (Mon): learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Ranua Zoo, don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church. On the 29th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Christmas House Santa, then see Santa Claus Office, then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, and finally explore the fascinating underground world of Syvasenvaara Fell.
