Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Get a sense of the local culture at Arktikum and Christmas House Santa. Take a break from the city and head to Safaris and Syvasenvaara Fell. There's lots more to do: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, explore the world behind art at Korundi House of Culture, and get curious at Pilke Science Centre.

Kittilä is a municipality of Finland and a popular holiday resort.It is located in northern Finland north of the Arctic Circle within the Lapland region. Start off your visit on the 13th (Sun): explore the landscape on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. Keep things going the next day: identify plant and animal life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm, then look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, then hit the slopes at Kids' Land, and finally join the crowd at Icekarting Levi.
