Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. On the 23rd (Mon), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, then tour or see a show at The Sami Cultural Centre Sajos, and then examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take some stellar pictures from Otsamo Fell and then wander the wide-open spaces of Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus.

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kids will enjoy SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus and Santa Claus Village. Step out of Rovaniemi to go to Ranua and see Ranua Zoo, which is approximately 1 hour away.
