Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kids will enjoy SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus and Arktikum. Go for a jaunt from Rovaniemi to Ranua to see Ranua Zoo about 1 hour away. There's much more to do: don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, examine the collection at Christmas House Santa, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Napapiirin Porofarmi.
