Home to some of Finland's most vibrant cities, Southern Finland brims with cultural and architectural tourist attractions, plus a quirky and lively nightlife scene.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Salpa Line Museum and Kotka Church. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Sibelius Birthplace and Stromforsin ruukki. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Southern Finland: Suomen Lasimuseo (The Finnish Glass Museum) (in Riihimaki), Haemeenlinna (Hame Castle & Hauhon kirkko) and Lotta Museum (in Tuusula). The adventure continues: look for all kinds of wild species at Arboretum Mustila, examine the collection at Directions Lahden historiallinen Museo, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Loviisan kirkko, and contemplate the waterfront views at Vaaksy Canal.
